Ahlbrecht and Hoffman earn all-tournament honors

Junior Megan Ahlbrecht(left) and Senior Maria Hoffman(right) were both named to the Holiday Inn-vitational All-Tournament team for their outstanding play this past weekend.

Ahlbrect finished the weekend with 35 kills, 12 digs and 4 blocks. Hoffman tallied 47 kills, 33 digs and hit .544 for the weekend.  Both middle hitters played pivotal roles in the Wildcats finishing tied with St. Olaf and St. Ben's with perfect 4-0 records at the tournament.

In three tournaments this season Ahlbrecht and Hoffman have each been named to two all-tournament teams.

Coach Hess, who was pleased with everyone's contributions during the weekend long tournament, now turns her teams attention to their upcoming MIAC matches. Wednesday at 7pm the Wildcats host Concordia-Moorhead in the Butler Center gym. Saturday they host St. Olaf as part of the Hall of Fame Athletic Ceremony weekend.
